There’s nothing quite like the colour and clarity of a well-preserved slide. Most slides we process are the 35mm variety but we can digitise all sizes and formats. We actually scan slides using a digital camera capturing every detail and giving you crisp, vibrant digital images ready to view, share and archive. Whether you have a small batch or a large collection, we’ll handle everything — from cleaning each slide to keeping your files organised and tidy in digital folders.

Our process

  • First we use compressed air to remove surface debris
  • Each slide is then hand cleaned with a soft cloth
  • Slides are captured one by one using a digital camera
  • Each file is saved as an individual JPEG file‍
  • We crop each file to leave a small black border so as to capture every pixel‍
  • Your files are kept in order and numbered sequentially‍
  • Bespoke naming using your own titles is also available

Preparing your slides

We don't need you to do anything special prior to sending but please make sure that they are packaged securely so they do not move around in transit or become separated or mixed up.

  • No counting required though a ballpark is helpful
  • Keep slides in their existing boxes, trays or carousels
