Digitising your photos is one thing. But we think you should be able to access them quickly and easily. From all your devices. For that time when you run into an old school friend you haven't seen in decades and you can surprise them with those pictures from another life. The school field trip, a camping holiday, those first grown-up nights out. No longer trapped inside the dusty box in the loft.
How does it work?
1. Book your free session
Pick a convenient day and time when you have access to your main computer at home. You can either email us your preferred time slot or use the button below. We'll confirm your booking via email and will share some instructions with you in preparation for the call. Thsi will include a link to a screen sharing video call. Don't worry if you haven't done this before, we'll walk you through it step by step.
2. What's included?
We'll cover everything you need to access all your old photos from your all new devices. You'll know where to find them and how to view them. We'll show you how to share your digital images individually or en masse with friends and family. And we'll make sure you have a reliable back up so you don't lose access to your new digital archive in the future. Calls vary but we usually cover at least the following tasks:
- Downloading your scans in case you haven’t done this yet
- Double checking you have a full complement of scans so nothing is missed
- Making sure you know how to find the scans on your computer
- Showing you how to make new folders and rename items
- Importing your photos into Apple Photos or Google Photos
- Reviewing the basics of organising photos in those programmes
- Ways to share some or all of your photos with loved ones
- Checking you can view your scans on your other devices
- Understanding long term backup options and how the Cloud works
- Ideas for new ways of using your old photos e.g. new prints, photos books, gifts
3. What if I need more help?
On the call we'll make sure you understand the basic principles of everything you need to know for getting started with photo organising. If you would like more help you can book additional time with one of our advisors by emailing us or using the button below.
Additional slots are billed hourly and can be used working on your photos together. Or, if you have a particularly large set of photos or some onerous tasks, we can simply do it for you. You can watch everything we do and if you would like a screen recording of the call, please ask.
Common requests include:
